O.k., I've been thinking alot the last few days about the shoe-in-the-road phenomenon. I was on my way back to work after my lunch break on Tuesday and saw 5 shoes in the road. They were all single shoes without their match, and all within a one mile stretch of road. And, it's pretty often that I'll see one lone shoe in the road. WTF? I mean how does that happen? Is it from people riding with their feet hanging out the window? Do they put their shoes on top of their cars and forget, like a drink or gascap? Are random people getting hit by cars and having their shoes fly off? Do people cross the road and lose a shoe? In all of these scenarios, wouldn't you go back and get your shoe out of the road?! What are you going to do with the other one? Can anyone else shed some light on this?
p.s. Thanks for the "award" Sarah, but, I'm not participating.
p.p.s. These shoes creep me out!
